His work connects architecture, design, philosophy, science and technology. His 15 years of fashion, experiments and collections tell in the Design Museum of London from January 21st till May 17th, 2009.

Hussein Chalayan is particularly recognized for its use of innovative materials and the control of cuttings, often architectural. Its approach of the fashion as a ground of exploration allows him to think of the garment beyond its simple feature.

The exhibition groups together its symbolic collections between architecture and techchnologie advanced, in particular Afterwords, pieces of furniture which are transformed into clothes and and Airbone a dress made by brilliant diodes and by crystals Swarovski.
